“No woman should perform the marriage of another woman, and no woman should perform her own marriage. It is an adulteress who performs her own marriage.”[Ibn Maajah]

Original Hadith

عن أبي هريرة -- قال: قال رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم-: «لا تُزوِّجُ المرأةُ المرأةَ، ولا تُزوج المرأةُ نفسَها، فإنَّ الزَّانية هي التي تُزوجُ نفسَها». (ابن ماجه)
