Hadith

Whenever the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) received good news, he would fall down in prostration out of gratitude to Allah. [Ibn Maajah]

Original Hadith

عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ «إذا جاءه أمرُ سرورٍ، أو بُشِّرَ به خَرَّ ساجدًا شاكرًا لله». [رواه أبو داود وابن ماجه والترمذي وأحمد.]"
