Hadith

"No one is wounded in the way of Allah except that he comes on the Day of Judgment with his wound bleeding; the color is that of blood, and the smell is that of musk." [Al-Bukhari]

Original Hadith

عن أبي هريرة -- قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم-: «ما من مَكْلُومٍ يُكْلَمُ في سبيل الله، إلا جاء يومَ القيامة، وكَلْمُهُ يَدْمَى: اللَّونُ لَوْنُ الدَّمِ، والرِّيحُ رِيحُ المِسْكِ». (البخاري)
