Raisins used to be soaked for the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) in a water skin, and he would drink it that day, the next day, and the following day. In the evening of the third day, he would drink it and give some to others. If anything was left, he would spill it. [Muslim]

عن ابن عباس، قال: «كان رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يُنْبَذُ له الزَّبِيبُ في السِّقَاءِ، فَيَشْرَبُهُ يَوْمَهُ وَالْغَدَ وَبَعْدَ الْغَدِ، فإذا كان مَسَاءُ الثَّالِثَةِ شَرِبَهُ وَسَقَاهُ، فإن فَضَلَ شيء أَهْرَاقَهُ». (مسلم)
