The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade breathing into the pot or blowing into it. [Ibn Maajah]
عن ابن عباس -رضي الله عنهما- قال: «نهى رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- أنْ يُتَنَفَّسَ في الإناء، أو يُنْفَخَ فيه». (ابن ماجه)
