    Hadith

    "Pursue the right course and be as close to it as possible, and know that none of you will be saved by their deeds." They asked: ""Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied: ""Not even me, unless Allah encompasses me in mercy and favor from Him." [Al-Bukhari]"

    Original Hadith

    "«قَارِبُوا وسَدِّدُوا، واعلَمُوا أَنَّه لَن يَنجُو أَحَد مِنكُم بِعَمَلِهِ» قالوا: ولا أنت يا رسول الله؟ قال: «ولاَ أَنَا إِلاَّ أَن يَتَغَمَدَنِي الله بِرَحمَة مِنْه وَفَضل». [صحيح.] - [متفق عليه.]"
