Hadith

Look at those who are below you, and do not look at those who are above you, for that is more likely to hold you back from belittling the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon you. [Muslim]

Original Hadith

"«انظروا إلى من هو أسفل منكم، ولا تنظروا إلى من هو فوقكم، فهو أجدر أن لا تَزْدَرُوا نعمة الله عليكم». [صحيح.] - [متفق عليه، وهذا لفظ مسلم.]"
