Once, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) stood at the top of one of Madīnah's forts looking down and said: Do you see what I see? Verily, I see the trials that occur in the midst of your houses as plenty as the raindrops that fall (during heavy rain). [Al-Bukhari]
: أشرفَ النبيُّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- على أُطُم من آطام المدينة، فقال: «هل ترون ما أرى؟» قالوا: لا، قال: «فإنِّي لأرى الفتنَ تقع خِلال بيوتكم كوَقْع القَطْر». [صحيح. - متفق عليه.]
