Indeed, Allah has put the truth upon the tongue and in the heart of ‘Umar." Ibn ‘Umar added: "Never did something occur among people, regarding which they judged and ‘Umar judged, except that the Qur’an was revealed about it in line with what ‘Umar had said. [At-Tirmidhi]
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إنَّ اللهَ جَعَل الحقَّ على لِسان عمر وقَلْبه». وقال ابن عمر: ما نَزَل بالناس أمرٌ قطُّ فقالوا فيه، وقال فيه عمر، إلا نَزَل فيه القرآن على نَحْوِ ما قال عمر. [صحيح.] - [رواه الترمذي وأحمد.]
