قال رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم-: «ما أُمِرْتُ بِتَشْيِيد المساجد»، قال ابن عباس: لتُزَخْرِفُنَّها كما زَخْرَفَت اليهود والنصارى. [صحيح.] - [رواه أبو داود.]
