Allah, the Almighty, stretches His Hand during the night so that the sinners of the day may repent, and stretches His Hand during the day so that the sinners of the night may repent. He keeps doing so until the sun rises from the west. [Muslim]

«إنَّ الله -تعالى- يَبْسُطُ يدَه بالليلِ ليتوبَ مسيءُ النَّهارِ، ويَبْسُطُ يدَه بالنَّهارِ ليتوبَ مسيءُ الليلِ، حتى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا» (مسلم)
