Hadith

Do not insult my Companions, for if anyone of you spend gold equal to Mount Uhud (in Allah's cause), it will not be equal to a Mudd or even half a Mudd spent by one of them. [Al-Bukhari]

Original Hadith

"عن أبي سعيد الخدري -رضي الله عنه- قال: قال النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم-: «لا تَسُبُّوا أصحابي، فلو أنَّ أحدَكم أَنْفَقَ مثل أُحُد، ذهَبًا ما بَلَغَ مُدَّ أحدهم، ولا نَصِيفَه». [صحيح.] - [متفق عليه.]"
