Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: ""My close friend (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) advised me to do three things: fast three days of every month, perform the two Rak‘ahs of Duha, and perform the Witr prayer before I go to sleep."" [Al-Bukhari]

"عن أبي هريرة -رضي الله عنه- قال: «أوصاني خليلي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- بثلاث: صيام ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ من كل شهر، وَرَكْعَتَيِ الضُّحَى، وأن أُوتِرَ قبل أن أنام». [صحيح.] - [متفق عليه.]"
